BiblioRedes Program has trained more than 300 thousand people on courses to develop their skills and technological knowledges to have a more connected Chile.

Currently, the course offers are divided into two broad categories and are available, on the network of public libraries and regional laboratories in Chile for the whole community who wants to learn to use technology as a means to development.

Computing for Development (TIC)

• Digital Literacy: Computing for information and communication If you have little knowledge of computers and the Internet or have never worked with a computer, this course is for you. You will develop basic knowledge and skills necessary to be able to inform and communicate using technology. This course is offered in three different versions, depending on the knowledge of inputs you have, and lasts approximately between 10 to 18 hours.
• Excel to Work If you are interested or interested in developing skills and knowledge of value added to the workforce, enterprises or academics, this is the program that you need. Here you will meet and will use basic tools for using Excel spreadsheets, the complete course divided into two modules, whose duration is approximately 12 hours.

To find the concept of electronic government, learning to use the information services of public service portals and perform online transactions, check your library or the nearest regional laboratory by the availability of this course. The full course lasts approximately 10 hours.
• Local Contents now have the opportunity to share with everyone content related to your town, city, region or our country. Through this course you will be guided / to be able to show your content either learned how to use networking applications such as photo galleries, videos, blog or website. • Word to Work If you need a course in which you learn to make letters, resumes, reports, and other kind of documents, we recommend this course. The complete course, which is divided into two modules will give you basic tools to use the Word Processor and lasts about 12 hours.
• Efficient search of information With this Curse also known as Information Literacy, you will develop skills that allow you to search and find information relevant to answer your questions, problems, doubts in any area, both printed and digital sources.
